Character First: Liberty Eylau Middle School

The objective of Character First is to recognize middle school students who have displayed outstanding character traits during the previous grading period. Oaklawn Rotarians periodically honor two students from each Texas Middle School; Liberty Eylau School, Pleasant Grove Middle School, and North Heights Middle School. The students from each school are nominated by the faculty of their school.

Adrianna Byrd

Adrianna is our 8th grade girl student of the month for October.  She is an “A” honor roll student and excels in volleyball, basketball and track.  Adrianna is in our gifted and talented program and is the secretary of our student council.

Hayden Turner

Hayden is our 7th grade boy student of the month for October.  He is an “A” honor roll student, a member of our 7th grade football team, and is getting ready to participate in our UIL competition for ready writing and modern oratory.  Hayden is also in our gifted and talented program.  He plays baseball with the Texarkana Dixie League.

Entertainment was provided by the Liberty Eylau Middle School 7th & 8th grade choir, under direction of Ms. Heather White.
